Originally built and intended as the residence of the National Symphony Orchestra, this little glade of paradise, in the heart of Maryland, has been transformed into the ideal venue for rock and pop concerts. From its humble beginnings of a rambling wooden structure with open air lawn grass seating, it has been restructured and renovated into one of the most beautiful tiered amphitheaters in the world, today. Great names have played on this stage, and great names will continue playing on this stage, for many a year to come. The venue has been the subject of extremely positive acclaim by critics, publishers, artists and the following public.

Since its opening in 1967, the Pavilion has hosted great names - The Who, Led Zepplin, Paul Simon, Willie Nelson to name just a very few of the talented musicians who have graced this stage. This year marks the sixteenth celebration of the beginnings of a tradition of a three-day rock festival. The attention to detail, the collection of great musicians, the ambience and the publicity are as memorable today as they were then. The line-up, the tracks, and everything that's going to be overflowing from the main stage at the Merriweather Post Pavilion on Sunday 4th May 2025 is going to be epic. On this night, the lineup is super well constructed. What you are getting is a bit of everything.
