The king of Whiskey Blues, Chris Stapleton, is back on the road again with his All American Roadshow and this year he brings Elle King and Madeline Edwards along for the ride. Catch them at Merriweather Post Pavilion on Saturday, August 20th 2022. This is literally the Best Country Tour in, well, the country! Winner of the 33rd Annual Pollstar Awards for last year's All American Roadshow. So grab some tickets, and I know you would prefer a nice neat, well-aged, single malt, but you won’t find a better blend of country, classic rock and Southern soul.
Nashville, Tennessee local, Chris Stapleton, had an absolutely fantastic 2021. He gained another three Grammy Award nominations for Best Country Album for his newest album, Starting Over, Best Country Song for the single, “Cold”, and Best Country Solo Performance in the song, “You Should Probably Leave”, he also received four ACM nominations for Male Artist of the Year for the song, “You Should Probably Leave”, Entertainer of the Year, and Video of the Year, for his work on Taylor Swift’s song, “I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version).”
Starting Over, Stapleton’s latest album debuted at number 1 on the Country Albums chart and number 3 on the Billboard 200, it received overwhelming critical praise, landing on several “Best of 2020” lists including NPR Music, Rolling Stone, Billboard, Esquire, Vulture, The Tennessean and The New York Times, who declared, “Chris Stapleton’s roar isn’t designed to scare you off. It’s regal, an announcement of an alpha figure asserting his primacy…on this, his fourth album, the thrill is back.” The album included the single, “You Should Probably Leave,” which reached number 1 on the Country Airplay chart, becoming his third number 1 single on the chart.
